Introduction to Your Site

The tutorials and how-tos in this section are meant to get you started with your site. They are not meant to teach you Joomla or Content Management Systems. If you want to learn more about Joomla! I'd suggest you check out Joomla's documentation or any number of good books on the topic.

You will be able to use your site with these articles by following the instructions as they are written and you can always ask for help on the user-to-user forum. We also frequent the forum to answer questions when we can and regularly write more how-tos and "tips and tricks" as they come up.

Feel free to comment on the individual how-tos and offer suggestions. If they are relevant to the topic we'll publish them and we might even use them.

Some of the areas you have access to are not covered in these tutorials and should be explored with caution. You have Super Admin privileges (it's your site after all) and the potential to do some damage. Proceed with caution before making changes to things you're not familiar with.
